Volunteering

We welcome people who want to offer their time and skills to support our residents or help grow the organisation.

You could:

Mentor someone trying to stay clean and focused

Help with basic life admin like benefits or job search

Support us with transport, maintenance or food deliveries

Run a group or workshop (CVs, cooking, confidence, budgeting)

We're especially keen to hear from people with lived experience of recovery, homelessness, or the justice system.

Now Recruiting: Non-Executive Directors (NEDs)

We’re looking for values-led, strategic minds to help steer Life With Support Housing Association as we grow.

Role: Non-Executive Director (NED)
Type: Voluntary
Commitment: Quarterly board meetings + occasional guidance
Location: Remote + optional in-person (King’s Lynn / Bristol / Accrington)

We want people with experience in one or more of the following:

Social housing or supported accommodation

Criminal justice, probation or prison leaver support

Property development / facilities management

Safeguarding, social care or mental health

Lived experience of recovery, homelessness, or the care system

Legal, HR, or strategic finance

What we need from you:

Strategic input, not day-to-day ops

Honest feedback and ethical accountability

A belief in second chances, structure and support — not pity, not punishment

You’ll help shape policy, expand our reach, and make sure we never lose sight of why we started this.
